Subject- APSC Recruitment of Class I Grade III Cadre Officer for  Assam Finance Service 2011

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invites Applications from Eligible and Desirous Candidates for filling up the position of Class I Grade III Cadre Officer for Assam Finance Service. Details about this recruitment is as following —

Name of the post – Class I Grade III Cadre Officer for Assam Finance Service

No. of Vacant Position – Total – 37 ( Thirty Seven)

Essential Educational Qualification – For the above Class I Grade III Cadre Officer, Candidate must be Bachelor Degree holder in any faculty or Subject from any reputed  University which must be recognized by the State Government.

Limitation of Age – Candidate should not be below than age of 21 years and not exceeding 38 years of Age as reckoned on 01 January, 2011. Candidates related to SC/ST/PWD category will get relaxation in age up to maximum 05 years. Government Staff of State Government will be eligible up to 45 years of Age. All other relaxation in age will be given as per rules and regulation of  State Government.

Salary –  Class I  Grade III Cadre Officer for Assam Finance Service will get Salary according to Pay Band of IV Rs.- 12,000-40,000/- with  a Grade pay of Rs. 5400/- with all allowances as per rules and regulation of State Government.

Selection Process  and Exam Pattern – Selection for above mentioned position will be made on the basis of Written examination and Interview.

Exam pattern will be as following —

1. General English and General Knowledge – Time- 3 Hours – Full Marks  100

2. Precis and Drafting – Time 3 Hours – Full Marks – 100

3. Financial Rules and Accounts – 3 Hours – Full Marks -150

4. Viva – Voce – Full Marks – 50

Only Those Candidate who Qualify in Written Examination will be called for Interview. Candidates will have to face medical examination before final appointment.

Job Description – Candidates, who will be selected for the above position will go to Central Training Institute, Guwahati, Assam for a training course of 06 (six) months. Period of 06 months training course will be followed by 03 months period of attachment.Candidate who will be selected for the above post and not a Government Staff before this selection will get a monthly stipend in training as per determination of State Government. If Selected Candidate is Government Servant before this selection he will treated as on deputation for finance department and get Grade pay as he getting presently for training period.

After Completion of Training period Candidates will have to face a Departmental Examination and only those Candidates who will get success in this examination and fulfil all the standards as prescribed by the State Government will be eligible for final appointment as  TO/ F& A.O with Pay Band 04 of Rs. 12000-40000/- with a Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-and all other allowances.

Application Fee –  Candidates will have to enclosed Application fee of Rs. 5/- for UR Candidates and Rs. 2.50/- for SC/ST Candidates as application fee and Rs. 50/- for UR and Rs. 25/- for SC/ST Candidates as  Examination Fee. Candidate should send this Fee through original treasury receipt. Candidate should mention the Name of Post and department and also full Head of Account as – Non Tax Revenue, other Non tax Revenue 0051 Public Service Commission 102 State Public Service Commission Application / Examination Fee Receipt of The Commission. Examination  fee should be paid through above rules and attached with Application form.

Candidates presently working in any Govt. departments/ Corporations / Boards / Banks / Autonomous Body / other similar organization or in any private sector should send their application form directly to the commission office. but they should enclose or submit a undertaking they have informed their employer to  writing their controlling Officer/ Appointing Authority that they have applied for the selection. Candidates should send their dully filled with Application to below mentioned Address.
