Recruitment in DERC for Personal Assistant, Steno and Clerk Jobs:-

Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) promote competition, efficiency and economy in the activities of the electricity industry to achieve the objects and purposes of the central electricity regulatory commission Act, 1998. At present, it invites applications from suitable candidates for appointment on the vacant posts of Personal Assistant, Steno / Computer Operator and Clerk / Computer Operator. Candidates are informed, the vacant posts shall be filled up either on deputation or direct or contract basis. So, willing candidates who fulfill the required eligibility criteria may submit their applications either through online or offline process latest by 15th June 2012. Details in regard of educational qualification, age limit, how to apply, pay scale etc. are given in the below paragraph.

DERC Recruitment Details for following Vacancies:-

Name of the Post, Number of vacancies and Pay scale:-

1. Personal Assistant – 03 – Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs. 4200/-

2. Steno / Computer Operator – 03 – Rs. 9300-34800/- and Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

3. Clerk / Computer Operator – 01 – Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Educational Qualifications:

For Personal Assistant and Steno – Candidates should have Bachelor Degree with proficiency of 40 w/m English Typing and 80 w/m English Shorthand and Computing 8000 kdph. Candidates should have also Diploma / Certificate in relevant discipline.

For Clerk – Bachelor Degree in any subject with 30 w/m English Typing Speed and Computing 6000 kdph and Diploma / Certificate in Computing.

Age limit for all posts: There is maximum age limit is 56 years for deputation basis and 27 years for direct recruitment.

How to apply: Eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment in two mode in which one is online process and another is offline process. Candidates may follow the given instructions for applying against the recruitment:

i) Offline mode – Neatly and completely filled in application in the given format along with self attested copies of the certificates in proof of educational qualifications must be sent to the Secretary, Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission at the following address.

ii) Online mode – For this process, candidates are needed to visit the official website of DERC and click on the link ‘Apply Online’ to open online application form and fill it carefully. After successfully submitting online application, must have to take its hard copy. Hard copy of online application along with recent passport size photograph and self attested copies of educational certificates should be sent to the Secretary, DERC at the given below address.
