IBPS CWE Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure for Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Office Assistant Vacancies in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs):-

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body which has been authorized to hold the common written examination (CWE) for Officers and Clerk Jobs in 19 public sector bank and regional rural banks.

Currently, the institute has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacant posts of Group ‘A’ – Officers in Scale I, II & III and Group ‘B’ – Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). For the recruitment purpose, a common written examination (CWE) will be held on scheduled date. Those candidates having willingness for applying against the mentioned posts must have to read eligibility criteria, selection procedure and exam pattern that are being written in under paragraphs:-

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience for:

Office Assistant – Candidates should be only Graduate or its equivalent in any subject.

Officer (Scale I) – Bachelor Degree in any discipline  is essential for the post.

Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer) – Must be Graduate with at least 50% marks and having minimum 02 years of experience as an Officer in Financial or Banking Institution.

Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) – Those candidates possesses CA with 01 year experience are eligible for Chartered Accountant, Master Degree with 01 year of experience for Marketing Officer, Certified Associateship / Master Degree in Finance plus 01 year experience for Treasury Officer, Bachelor Degree in relevant field with minimum aggregate 50% marks and 02 years of experience for Agricultural Officer.

Officer Scale III –  Must be completed Degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and having 05 years and above experience as an Officer in a Financial or Banking Institutions are eligible for applying for the post.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be completed 18 years of age and should not be crossed 28 years of age limit are eligible for non-experienced posts like Office Assistant and Officers Scale I.

Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years of age limit are required for Officer Scale II posts and 40 years for Officers Scale III Jobs.

In this common written examination, will be a common paper like English Language and Hindi Language for Generalist and Specialist cadres posts. Candidates may appear either in English or Hindi language test according to States or Union Territories.

Candidates are informed, there will be cut 0.25 marks in the shape of penalty for every wrong answer. So, candidates are suggested, they should have to mark their confirm answer on answer sheet.

Those candidates qualify the written examination will get score cards issued by IBPS. The score cards will be sent to each candidates through speed or registered post at the correspondence address which specified in his / her online application. The score card will be validated up to 01 year from the date of issuance.

After getting the valid score card, candidates may appear in further examinations or interviews will be conducted by participated regional rural bank. So, candidates must have to try secure better marks in the CWE test.
