Indian Navy Exam Pattern & Eligibility Criteria of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer

At this time, applications have been invited for SSC – Short Service Commission Officer in Executive Branch (General Services) and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy. So, the candidates are going to apply for the course may get exam pattern, eligibility criteria and selection procedure from here. For knowing the details read mentioned below paragraph:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in relevant discipline.

Age Limit: above 19 ½ years and below 25 years.

Physical Standard:

Height Weight Eye Sight
Minimum 157 cm According to height 6/24 without glasses for technical and 6/12 for executive branch and 6/6 with glasses.

Selection Procedure: The appointment is based on candidate’s performance in Degree Course and Interview.

Pattern of Interview:

Those candidates hold higher qualification with better percentage will be issued call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews.

Interview will be held in two stages:

Stage–I: The test consists of Picture Perception and Intelligence test and Discussion test that will be conducted on second day of coming at SSB.

Stage-II: In second stage, Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will be conducted for 04 days.

Those candidates will be qualified in these tests will be called for Medical examination for the period of 03 to 05 days (approximately).

Those candidates declared medically fit by the SSB will be appointed for training according to all India merit depending on the vacancies.
