Q. What are the Eligibility Criteria for MP DMAT Test?

A. The Eligibility Criteria of MP DMAT Test are –

MBBS / Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS)

  1. Applicants should have successfully cleared Higher Secondary Examination from Madhya Pradesh Board or from CBSE Board.
  2. Applicants should have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  3. Applicants should have secured minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together.
  4. Applicants who have passed any equivalent or higher examination from any other recognized board are also eligible.
  5. Applicants who have possess any other qualification recognized by Government of India / Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India are also liable.

Bachelor of Physio Therapy (BPT), B.Sc Nursing and other allied Paramedical Courses

  1. Applicants should have successfully cleared Higher Secondary Examination from Madhya Pradesh Board or from CBSE Board and should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. For Nursing course applicants should have passed English also.
  3. Applicants who have passed any equivalent or higher examination from any other recognized board are also eligible.

Q. What is the Examination Pattern of MP DMAT?

A. The Examination Pattern of MP DMAT is furnished below

  1. Time limit is three hours
  2. The question paper will contain four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology

  1. The questions will be of objective type questions
  2. All total two hundred questions will be there.
  3. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.

  2. Application forms can also be obtained from participating colleges by post.

A. Preparation for an entrance examination depends on individuals. Every student has their own method of preparation. Let us furnish few important preparation tips –

  1. Decision – The prime step of preparation is decision of taking medical as a career. Aspirants should be very clear with their views and aims. They should know what they want to achieve and how. Aspirants who want to be a part o medical science are welcome by various institutes.
  2. Study Material – Selection of proper study material is very important. Students can take help from their teachers or seniors for which books to prefer. Various suggestions can be taken from internet. Or the students can enroll themselves to any coaching institute for study material. They should refer those materials till the end of the exam.
  3. Planning – Now students need to make a proper plan of their study time. They should allot equal amount of time to every subject. Planning always acts as the base of every activity. Students who are very much serious with their career focus much time on their preparation.
  4. Study the books – After preparing a time table, students have to study all the books. The can start with easy sums and gradually they can increase their level of difficulty. This should be the process with every subject.
  5. Practice – Students needs to practice the questions as much as they can. It is very important to be familiar with the exam questions. A thorough practice will bring confidence among the students.
  6. Previous Year Question Papers – Last year’s question papers are the best study material. Students must set up a time and must try to finish their paper in the specified time. This practice should be done every day because one question may cost a medical seat.
  7. Mock Test – Different coaching institutes are there which conducts mock test prior to three months of the examination. Students need to enroll themselves and appear for the mock test. The institute will provide their performance result so that students can know their place in the pool of students.
  8. Evaluation – After knowing their position students get to know their weak points and then they have to evaluate it. Try to improve your weak points and work harder for the next mock test.
  9. Revision – Aspirants have to revise previous years’ paper at least three times and make sure that they remember the answers. Students must avoid last minute preparation.
  10. Appear for the exam – Now with full of confidence students have to appear for the examination. Students must try to keep their mind cool as much as possible. Tension should not pull down the strength of the students.
