Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Course Commencing Jan 2012

Indian navy invites application from only Unmarried Male Candidates of India for the Recruitment of Short Service Commission Officer for its education branch at Kerala. Course commencing January-2012. Candidates who full fill the Eligibility criteria like Educational Qualifications, Physical Standard can send their in prescribed format as instructed.


  1. Candidates should have B.Tech/BE./Computer Science/Mechanical Engg. with 60 % marks
  2. Master’s Degree in Technology in Oceanography/ Meteorology or equivalent degree with 60% marks

Physical Standard:

Height of the candidates should be 157cms

Eyes Sight should be 6/6 and 6/12 without wearing any glasses, Candidates should be free from Night/colour Blindness

Short Service Commission (SSC)

Commission grants the short service commission for 10 years; it can be extended for another 4 years according to performance of the candidates and requirement by the commission

How to Apply:

  1. Candidates are required to send their application in prescribed format
  2. A complete application should be sent in a super scribed envelop
  3. Candidates are advised to write “ Educational qualifications and Percentage” on the Super scribed envelop
