IES / ISS Exam Pattern and Preparation Scheme
Competitive examination like Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistics Service (ISS) is conducted by UPSC every single year. Like other influential examinations it (IES) is conducted through English Medium. The examination comprises 06 Papers such as General English, General Study, General Economics I, II & III and Indian Economics. Total 1000 marks are allotted for the written test exercise. Out of 1000 marks; 200 marks are allotted to each of 4 paper of Economics and Rest 200 marks are equally divided into General English and General Study paper. Three hours is given to solve the questions.
Exam pattern of ISS is as much same as IES. Only the paper of Statistics substitute General Economics paper, so does allotted marks. Rest of other paper are same. But syllabus of both the examination never overlap each other.
Cracking the particular examination is vital task ahead of contenders. Candidates have to shown his or mental strength in the examination. Through regular exercises and rigorous practice candidates will be able to get success. Always remember the fact there is no any shortcut for success.
