State Bank of India (SBI) Eligibility Criteria for the post of Clerk
State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Clerk under Special Recruitment Drive for SC / ST / OBC Category and Regular Recruitment for North Eastern Circle. Online application for the post of Clerk is being made from 28/12/2011 which will be continued upto 20/01/2012.
Only those candidates are eligible for the job of Clerk who fulfill the following eligibility criteria mentioned below
SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates, who are going to apply for the job of Clerk, must be Indian citizens having required qualifications and Age limit mentioned below.
1. Higher Secondary with minimum 60% Marks (55% for SC / ST / XS / PWD) from a recognized Board or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
2. Those Candidates may also apply for this job who have not passed the 12th Standard examination but they have completed diploma course of minimum 2 years from State Board of Technical Education of concerned state
3. Candidates with Class 10th Passed having served in Armed Force of the Union and have obtained Indian Army Special Certificate of Education are also eligible for the post of Clerk
4. Educational Qualifications of candidates for this post will be reckoned as on 01/12/2011
Age Limit and Relaxations:
Age: Candidates, applying against SBI Special Recruitment Drive Dec 2011 for the post of Clerk, should be born between 30/11/1983 and 01/12/1993 i.e. minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 28 years as on 01/12/2011
Relaxations: Those belong to SC / ST Category will be relaxed in age by 5 years, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD (UR), 15 for PWD (SC / ST) and 13 years for PWD (OBC) Candidates. Those candidates, seeking age relaxations, will have to submit Copies of relevant certificates
