Qualification (as on 1 May 2011):
Graduation in any subject from any recognized university
Age on 1 May 2011:
21 Yrs – 30 Yrs. (not before 2-5-1981 and not after 1-5-1990)
3 Yrs for OBC Candidates, 5 Yrs for SC/SC, EX-Servicemen Candidates, 10 Yrs for OH/VH (Gen), 13 Yrs for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 Yrs for VH/OH (SC/ST) Candidates
Basic Salary: 16,900 Scale: 14500- 600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700.
Notes: T.A, D.A, H.R.A and C.C.A facility will be provided for applicants by S.B.I including 27,800/- at Metropolitan Centers.
Rs. 50/- (Postal Charges) only for those candidate who belongs to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 500/- Application Fee including postal charges for General and Others candidates.
How to Apply:
Firstly Candidates, wanting to apply, must have a valid email ID. Candidates having email Id have to visit Challan page of Official Website of SBI and get printout of Challan. Now candidates will go to any Branch of SBI and pay application fee with filled up Challan Page. After getting receipt of Challan they have to again visit official website of SBI. Now Open Application format and fill up it correctly and write receiving number of application fee at given space and submit

The candidate, who will apply for this post, must face the written test firstly. The duration of written test will be 3 hours. All questions will be objective and subjective types question.
1). English Language (Grammar Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.): 50 Marks
2). General awareness, Marketing and Computers: 50 Marks
3). Data Analysis and Interpretation: 50 Marks
4). Reasoning (High Level): 50 Marks
40% marks will be obtained for general candidate and 30% marks will be obtained for that candidate who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. Candidates should have faced the objective and Descriptive tests.
2nd Phase of Selection:
The candidates who will successful in written test have to face the interview and Group Discussion (G.D).
Full Marks for GD: 20
Full Marks for Interview: 30
Total Marks for this Examination: 250
The candidate who will be passed in both Examinations (Written Test and Interview) will get Appointed in SBI on the Post of Probationary Officers (PO).
Important Points for Candidates:
Use of Phones, Pages, Calculator or any such device is prohibited in Examination Campus for candidates.
Those candidates who will appear in written Examination and pass, will be called for interview
