Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Exam Pattern for Officer, Office Assistant Written Test Feb 2012
Uttaranchal Gramin Bank has invited applications for the recruitment of Officer Scale-I Group “A” and Office Assistant Group ”B” in the pay scale of Rs.14500 to 25700 and Rs.7200 to 19300 respectively. Candidates who have applied against these posts and preparing for the written test which is going to be held on 19/02/2012 for Officer Scale-I and on 12/02/2012 for Office Assistant Group ”B” may have some information from here concerning exam pattern of this written test and selection procedure of this recruitment. Written Test will be conducted by Uttaranchal Gramin Bank on the stipulated dates as mentioned above. Candidates who are interested to know more about the scheme of examination / Exam pattern and Syllabus of the written test may have a look on the following lines.
Candidates who have applied for suitable post and their applications have been received by the bank will be invited for written test. Candidates who qualify in written test with minimum qualifying marks will be called for interview. Only those candidates will be selected for the job who secure attractive marks in written test and give satisfactory performance in the interview. Final selection of the candidates will be made on the decision of recruiting authorities appointed by the bank.
Written test for the post of Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant Group “B” will be objective type based on Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Knowledge, General English or Hindi. The Written Test will be of 200 Marks consisting of 200 multiple choices questions, for which time duration of 2.30 Hours has bee allotted. See the above details in table format

Note: Candidates can either appear for General English or General Hindi, any one of them.
The written test carries 200 Marks, out of which candidates will have to secure at least 40% Mark to qualify for interview. Candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC / ST) will have to secure at least 35% Marks of Total. Those candidates who qualify in written test with minimum qualifying marks and appear in short list made by recruiting authority appointed by the bank will be called for interview.
